Mike Tauchman exits game with calf injury

He will return to New York City Monday for evaluation and an MRI, the Yankees announced.
The 28-year-old outfielder was 2-for-2 on the night with a double and home run before being helped off the field and replaced by Cameron Maybin.
The Yankees have been thoroughly victimized by the injury bug all season long, which initially helped pave the way for Tauchman's breakout performance in 2019.
Acquired from the Colorado Rockies for left-hander Philip Diehl in late-March, Tauchman entered Sunday night with an impressive slash line of .271/.357/.484 along with 30 extra-base hits and 45 RBI.
Tauchman has spent time at all three outfield positions for the Yankees, providing stellar defense in the wake of injuries to players like Giancarlo Stanton and Aaron Hicks.
Tauchman's immediate contributions on both sides of the ball have helped the Yankees establish and thrive under a self-professed "Next Man Up" philosophy, and they've maintained one of the best records in MLB for much of the season.
