1. It's STILL Yankees vs. Red Sox!

2. The Yankees have hit multiple homers in each of the last six games, which is the club's longest such streak since May of 2009, when the Yankees hit multiple HRs in nine straight games.

3. Can he make it four in a row? Brett Gardner has homered in three straight games (all three Rangers games earlier this week). He has also led off the past two games with a home run. He has nine hits in his last 15 at-bats, and leads the AL with 41 RBI this season while batting leadoff.

4. Some sample lifetime batting averages against the BoSox: Francisco Cervelli (.344), Derek Jeter (.291), Ichiro Suzuki (also .291) and Carlos Beltran (.288).

5. Carlos Beltran is hitting .354 since returning from his concussion on July 18.
