1. TANAKA!!!!!

2. The Yankees have won four of their last five games; can they make it 5-of-6 tonight, and possibly leapfrog Toronto and cut Baltimore's lead to 2 1/2 games? New York is 9-5 in its last 14 road games

3. Yankees pitchers have 750 strikeouts this season, the most in franchise history through the team's first 88 games. Their previous high through 88 games? 731 in 2012

4. Last night marked only the THIRD time in franchise history that a Yankees pitcher notched his first major-league win in the same game in which his teammate recorded his first major-league save. The Greene-Betances combo last night joins Al Closter-Fritz Peterson in 1971 and Vidal Nuno-Adam Warren earlier this season as the only other Yankees win-save "first-timer" combos.

5. A fast start out of the blocks tonight may bode well for the Yankees. They are 19-4 in 2014 when leading after the first inning.
