Being an indoor stadium, the Tampa Bay Rays' Tropicana Field benefits from not having to deal with Florida's fickle weather. Birds, on the other hand, are a completely different story.

On Monday night, the Rays and Kansas City Royals were visited by three brave pigeons during the game. The birds squatted in between the pitcher's mound and first base for a few pitches until they made the smart decision to leave the field of play.

These pigeons must not have gotten the memo that baseball and birds don't mix, especially when Randy Johnson is involved.
