Two Baby Bombers are headed to MLB's All-Star festivities in Minnesota, with slugger Peter O'Brien and righty pitcher Luis Severino selected to play in the 2014 Futures Game at Target Field on Sunday, July 13.

The 23-year-old O'Brien, who will represent Team USA, has split this season between Class-A Advanced Tampa and Double-A Trenton, hitting .266 with 25 home runs and 54 RBI in 72 games through Monday. Drafted as a catcher in 2012, O'Brien has played behind the plate, at first base, and in right field this season, and is listed on the USA roster as an infielder.

Severino, 20, will be on the opposite side, playing for the World Team. He was dominant over the first half of the season at Class-A Charleston, going 3-2 with a 2.79 ERA and 70 strikeouts in 67 2/3 innings over 14 starts, and has made one start for Tampa since being promoted following the Class-A All-Star Games earlier this month.
