TWIF Pick 'Em: NFL Week 8
Each week, we will post the TWIF panel’s picks for every game on the NFL slate here on YESNetwork.com, so you can see how your thoughts compare to those of Ryan Ruocco, Howard Cross, Ross Tucker, and Gary Myers. In addition, we’ll also be keeping a tally of how Ryan and the gang do all season, so come January you’ll see who has bragging rights as the big winner among the panel.
You can keep track of your record and see if you end up beating the experts...and of course, don't forget to watch This Week in Football every Tuesday during the NFL season on YES!
Last week saw the undefeated Broncos “upset” in Indianapolis and second unbeaten nearly bite the dust in Kansas City – and it was “upset” time in the TWIF Pick ‘Em as well, as Howard Cross surged above the competition and went 10-5 to win the weekly prize. Howard remains in fourth place on the season, but by virtue of Ryan Ruocco’s 9-6 mark, we have an undisputed leader for the first time in three weeks, as Ryan moved one game ahead of 8-7 Ross Tucker into sole possession of the top spot.
This week, the NFL returns to London for the second of two international games this year, and the TWIF panel thinks there will be no Jacksonville upset of San Francisco…in fact, they think most of this week’s 13 games are pretty cut and dried, as Niners over Jags is one of 11 the panel is unanimous on. There could still be a change at the top of the standings, however, as Ryan has the Jets over Cincinnati and Ross has Arizona over Atlanta – so a Bengals/Cardinals sweep could put Ross back in sole possession of first place.
Let’s see who the gang has gone with this week, but first, a look at the latest standings…
