The Brooklyn Knight entertains children at the Marcy Children's Center in Brooklyn.(YES Network)
Members of the Brooklyn Nets organization visited the Marcy Children's Center in Brooklyn today to work alongside the pre-school teachers, and help the children create a "learning tree."

Each child designed their own leaf, with one side of the leaf representing their goals. As the year progresses, the children can update their leaf by turning it over as goals are met or the seasons change.

After the children created their leaves, they joined the Brooklyn Knight & members of the Brooklyn Nets organization for playtime outside. Today's event, along with the remaining events concluding this Friday, focus on the four pillars of the Brooklyn Nets Assist Community Week Program: Education, Athletics, Health & Wellness, and Community Development.
