Gary Sanchez is the No. 1 prospect in the Yankees system according to several outlets, and he is also heavily regarded by baseball scouts as being one of the elite catching prospects in the game.

Just 20 years of age, Sanchez split 2013 between Class-A Advanced Tampa and Double-A Trenton, helping lead the latter to an Eastern League championship. In 117 games between the two levels, he hit .253 with 15 home runs, 71 RBI, and 27 doubles at the dish, and behind it, he lowered his passed ball rate for the second consecutive season and threw out an eye-popping 44 percent of attempted base-stealers – an impressive increase from not only the previous season’s mark (30 percent), but also his 29.7 percent career mark entering this season.

So what’s it like to pitch to the highly touted prospect? Watch the video below to see how several members of his pitching staff in Trenton answered that question.
