Defensive end John Abraham has signed a two-year deal with the Arizona Cardinals, with NFL insider Jason La Canfora reporting the deal is worth approximately $6 million.

Abraham, 35, has spent the last seven seasons with the Atlanta Falcons, registering a Falcons franchise-record 68.5 sacks and earning a Pro Bowl berth in 2010. However, despite recording 10 sacks and six forced fumbles in 2012, he was cut by the team on March 1, less than a year after signing a three-year, $16.72 million free agent contract to remain in Atlanta.

Originally drafted by the New York Jets with the No. 13 overall pick in 2000, Abraham is a four-time Pro Bowler with 122 career sacks – the most among active players – and has recorded 9.5 sacks or more in nine of his 13 pro seasons.
