Ex-Knick Douglas signs with Warriors
After agreeing to terms on a deal earlier this week, point guard Toney Douglas has officially signed a contract with the Golden State Warriors.
This past season Douglas played for the Houston Rockets and the Sacramento Kings, averaging 7.5 points and 2.1 assists per game. Signing Douglas will add much-needed depth to the Warriors backcourt after Jarrett Jack left to sign with the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Drafted by the Los Angeles Lakers in 2009 out of Florida State, Douglas has averaged 8.6 points and 2.4 assists for his career. Golden State will be the 27-year-old's fourth team, previously playing with the New York Knicks, Houston Rockets and Sacramento Kings.
