Players you forgot were Yankees: J.T. Snow
Before his nearly career-long stint on the west coast, six-time Gold Glove award winner J.T. Snow broke into the majors as a New York Yankee. Snow was drafted in the fifth round of the 1989 Amateur draft by the Yankees and made his big league debut in 1992. In the ’92 season, Snow only played in seven games for the Bronx Bombers and hit for a .143 average. During the 1992 off-season the second baseman was part of a trade that brought Jim Abbot to New York and sent Snow out west to the Angels. After the 1996 season, Snow was traded to the San Francisco Giants where he spent nine years of his 15-year career, winning four of his six Gold Gloves.
