David West and the Indiana Pacers have reportedly come to terms on a three-year deal to keep the forward in Indianapolis. The deal will be worth $36 million, with the third year expected to be a player option, according to league sources.

Re-signing West was one of the team's top priorities, as the 32-year-old forward averaged 17.1 points and 7.7 rebounds in 2012-13 in helping lead Indiana to the Eastern Conference Finals. The value of retaining West goes beyond those numbers as well, as many consider the 10-year veteran to be one of the best team leaders in the league.

The deal cannot become official until the signing moratorium is lifted on July 10.

Teams cannot officially sign free agents until July 10.
