Miami Heat already odds-on favorites to three-peat as NBA Champions
Not even 24 hours after they clinched their second straight NBA Championship, the Miami Heat are already odds-on favorites to three-peat in 2013-14.
Online oddsmakers Bovada have already released their take on each team's chances to win the Larry O'Brien Trophy next season, with LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and company the early favorites at 2-to-1.
The San Antonio Spurs, who took the Heat to seven games in an epic NBA Finals, are fourth at 17-to-2, trailing the Heat, the Oklahoma City Thunder (11-to-2) and the Chicago Bulls (15-2).
The New York Knicks are at 18-to-1, tying them with the Los Angeles Clippers for the sixth-best odds, and the Brooklyn Nets are tied for fourteenth, sharing 40-to-1 odds with the Dallas Mavericks.
Orlando and Charlotte have the worst odds at 500-to-1.
Bovada also has some prop bets posted, allowing folks to pontificate on whether free agent-to-be Manu Ginobili will be back with the Spurs next season and whether or not all three members of Miami's "Big 3" will be back in South Beach come November.
