In between games of Wednesday's doubleheader at Yankee Stadium, the Los Angeles Dodgers activated RHP Chris Capuano from the 15-day disabled list and optioned outfielder Alex Castellanos to Triple-A Albuquerque.

Capuano, who was placed on the DL on June 4 with a strained lat muscle, is set to start the nightcap of the doubleheader opposite righty Phil Hughes. He comes in with a 1-4 record and a 5.45 ERA in eight appearances (six starts) this season, one that also saw him spend three weeks on the disabled list between April 17 and May 6 with a left calf strain.

His last appearance came on May 29, as he allowed three runs over 5.2 innings in the Dodgers' 5-2 loss to the Angels in Anaheim.

Castellanos had been called up on June 11 when Scott Van Slyke was put on the DL, and he was 2-for-9 in four games, including an 0-for-2 line as the starting left fielder in Game 1 of the doubleheader.
