San Antonio Spurs point guard Tony Parker has been diagnosed with a slight strain in his right hamstring, and he is hopeful that he will be able to play in Game 4 of the NBA Finals on Thursday night.

Parker suffered the injury during Tuesday’s Game 3, which saw San Antonio defeat the Miami Heat by a 113-77 margin. He initially left the game during the third quarter to have his hamstring looked at, and after returning to start the fourth quarter, he was pulled for good with 10:33 remaining.

He underwent an MRI Wednesday morning, and later posted the results (and his hope for Game 4) in French on his Facebook page.

Parker is averaging 13.3 points and 6.3 assists per game so far in the Finals, which the Spurs lead 2-1 after Tuesday’s win.
