The Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders have made two roster moves in the last 24 hours due to activity at the Major League level, and on Saturday morning, they made another one of their own.

The RailRiders got pitcher Dellin Betances back on Friday when the 6-foot-8 righty was optioned back to Triple-A when the Yankees activated Ivan Nova off the disabled list, but did not have to make a corresponding roster move to activate him because outfielder Brennan Boesch was recalled by the Yankees when Curtis Granderson was placed on the DL Saturday morning.

Also on Saturday morning, the RailRiders activated first baseman Luke Murton from the 7-day disabled list, making room for him by re-assigning RHP Graham Stoneburner to Double-A Trenton.

Murton, who led all Yankees Minor Leaguers in home runs in 2012, has yet to go deep for the RailRiders, hitting .221 with six RBI in 20 games before going on the DL; meanwhile, Stoneburner, who has split this season between Scranton and Trenton, ends his second Triple-A stint with a 2-3 record and a 4.31 ERA in eight total appearances (seven starts) for the RailRiders.

The Thunder will not have to make a corresponding move to add Stoneburner because LHP Francisco Rondon, who was 2-3 with a 7.46 ERA in 12 games (six starts) for Trenton, was designated for assignment earlier Saturday when the Yankees claimed LHP David Huff off waivers from Cleveland.
