The Yankees will face a familiar face in tonight's series finale against Seattle, as RHP Hector Noesi will pitch for the Mariners in place of scheduled starter Aaron Harang.

According to Mariners beat writer Shannon Drayer, Harang has been scratched due to lower back stiffness, leaving Noesi to make his first start of the year.

Noesi, who was part of the Michael Pineda deal that also sent Jesus Montero to Seattle, has made four appearances out of the Seattle bullpen, allowing four runs in 9.1 innings (a 3.86 ERA). He last pitched on May 5, giving up three runs in two innings in a Mariners loss to Toronto.

Last season, Noesi began the year in the Mariners rotation, but was re-assigned to Triple-A in July and returned in September to pitch out of the bullpen; overall, he was 2-12 with a 5.82 ERA in 22 appearances in 2012.
