There will be more than Mother’s Day to celebrate this Sunday at the Yogi Berra Museum & Learning Center.

As part of the celebration of Yogi Berra’s 88th birthday, members of the world champion 1978 Yankees will be at the Museum from 12 noon to 4 p.m. for an autograph show.

Stars such as Goose Gossage, Ron Guidry, Roy White, Paul Blair and Mickey Rivers will be among those appearing from that memorable Yankee team, which came from 14 games behind the Boston Red Sox to win the AL East, then won their third straight American League pennant and second straight World Series.

In addition, other former Yankee favorites such as Oscar Gamble and Ron Blomberg – who 40 years ago became baseball’s first designated hitter – will also be on hand to sign.

The list of players, schedules and pricing can be found on the Museum’s website – Admission is free for visitors who bring in an item to get signed. Proceeds will benefit the Museum’s operations and education programs. For more info, call (973) 655-2378.
