Deron Williams gives Barclays Center suite to five fans for Nets finale
Suite gifted to contest winners through social gaming appAccording to a release issued by SHOUT and Excel Sports Management, Williams gifted the suite to five contest winners as part of a promotion with SHOUT, an "innovative new mobile app that engages participants in real-time, in-game questions during a variety of sports and entertainment events, allowing them to win cash and prizes."
Williams held a season-long Celebrity VIP Box contest on SHOUT, with the top five players winning the tickets and a chance to meet D-Will himself after the game; in addition, those five will be playing via SHOUT during Wednesday's finale for the chance to win a signed iPad mini.
"SHOUT is on the cutting edge of live mobile gaming, and I am really excited that fans can participate and see for themselves that SHOUT is one of the best apps out there," Williams said in the release.
Entering Wednesday's game, Williams is averaging 19.1 points and 7.8 assists in 77 games this season, and has already knocked down a Nets franchise record 168 three-pointers.
