The New York Yankees announced on Tuesday that prior to that evening’s game against the Arizona Diamondbacks (YES, 6 p.m.) a moment of silence will be held to honor those lost and affected by the Monday’s events in Boston. In addition, the Yankees will play Fenway Park staple “Sweet Caroline” over the public address in between the third and fourth innings. It’s long been a Boston tradition to play the Neil Diamond classic during the eighth inning of all games held at the venerable ballpark.
