Curtis Granderson leaves Sunday's game after being hit by pitch
With two outs and two runners on, Granderson was hit in the right wrist and hand by a 1-0 offering from Toronto left-hander J.A. Happ. After a quick consultation with trainers and manager Joe Girardi, Granderson was taken out of the game and replaced by pinch-runner Ronnier Mustelier, who remained in the game in left field in the second inning.
Prior to the fourth inning, the Yankees announced that Granderson has a bruised right forearm, and was being sent for precautionary X-rays.
