Knicks deal Ronnie Brewer to Thunder

Brewer signed with the Knicks in July and played in 46 games, averaging 3.6 points, 0.9 assists, and 2.2 rebounds in 15.5 minutes. The sixth-year man had started 34 of the 46 games he played, but had fallen out of favor with coach Mike Woodson and played five minutes or less in nine of his final 10 games in the orange and blue.
The Knicks now have an open spot on their 15-man roster, and speculation has already begun that they could be targeting free agent Kenyon Martin to give them some additional frontcourt help.
