Chicago Cubs fans are a loyal bunch, and there’s apparently one supporter who will always have an eye on his beloved Cubbies…literally.

The Smithsonian Institute Tweeted a photo Wednesday night of a prosthetic eyeball featuring the Cubs logo in place of the iris and pupil, an item designed by a Marine Corps veteran who lost his eye while serving in Iraq.

The prosthetic peeper was showcased by the Institute during a “Smithsonian Tweetup” at the Museum of American History, along with the glasses the injured soldier was wearing and another prosthetic displaying the Marine Corps logo. comments
