YES to televise 19 Spring Training games

NEW YORK, February 14, 2013 – The YES Network will telecast 19 New York Yankees Spring Training games this spring, the most in the network's history, starting with Toronto's visit to George M. Steinbrenner Field in Tampa on Sunday, February 24 at 1:00 pm ET.

Among the 19 telecasts slated are those against the Dominican Republic World Baseball Classic squad (March 6, in Tampa), the Washington Nationals at Nationals Park in Washington, D.C., (March 29), Army (March 30 at West Point), and a pair of games against the Boston Red Sox (March 3 in Fort Myers and March 20 in Tampa).

All of YES' Yankees talent will be on display through out Spring Training, including Michael Kay and Ken Singleton, who will be calling the February 24 contest against Toronto. Other Yankees voices working Spring Training games include David Cone, John Flaherty, Al Leiter, Paul O'Neill and Lou Piniella.

Jack Curry and Meredith Marakovits will alternate reporting duties for YES' Spring Training telecasts.
