Colin Kaepernick adds a new tattoo
How do you celebrate coming within a few yards of leading your team to a Super Bowl championship? If you're Colin Kaepernick, you do it by covering your chest in ink.
The 25-year-old 49ers quarterback spent Wednesday night adding a large tribal design across his chest, reports USA Today. The new tattoo surrounds the words "Against All Odds," which had already been permanently placed on Kaepernick's chest.
According to the quarterback's tattoo artist, Orly Locquiao, the new ink represents "family, inner strength, spiritual growth, and humility."
Locquiao completed the tattoo at 2:30 a.m. on Thursday. What do you think of the new art? Leave your comments below.
