
Yankees hold auction for radio producer Carlos Silva

The Yankees got together at Hard Rock Cafe in Times Square for an auction to benefit radio producer Carlos Silva, who is battling cancer. Joe Girardi, Mariano Rivera, Mark Teixeira and Brian Cashman were among the attendees.
"He's part of the family. He's going through a difficult time and we're here to help him," Girardi said.
The Mets and Knicks also contributed with signed memorabilia for the auction.
