New York Yankees left-hander CC Sabathia and YES Brooklyn Nets analyst Greg Anthony are among the dignitaries who will be honored on Tuesday night at the 33^rd Annual Thurman Munson Awards Dinner at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in New York City.

YES Yankees play-by-play man Michael Kay will be the Master of Ceremonies during which Sabathia and Anthony will accept "Thurmans" presented for success on the fields of play and philanthropic works off the field. Other Thurman recipients are New York Giants defensive tackle Chris Canty, New York Mets first baseman Ike Davis and United States Olympic gold medalist Aly Raisman. Yankees right-hander David Phelps will also be honored with the Rising Star Award.

The gala, which remembers the late, great Yankees catcher and captain, benefits the AHRC New York City Foundation. Diana Munson, Thurman's widow, will attend her 33rd straight benefit, having been involved since its inception to raise nearly $12 million to assist children and adults who have intellectual and developmental disabilities.
