Kevin Youkilis and more Red Sox who became Yankees
Now that he is officially on the New York side of the rivalry, Youkilis has become the eighth member of the 2004 Red Sox to later join the team they battled in that year’s historic ALCS – a list that includes Ramiro Mendoza, who was a Yankee from 1996-2002, went to Boston for the 2003 and 2004 seasons, and then came back to the Bronx in 2005.
In that vein, our friends over at NESN have put together a photo gallery of the Top 10 Red Sox who went on to become Yankees, and as a spoiler, we will tell you that Youkilis is on the list, and that Nos. 1, 2, and 3 are likely obvious guesses.
But, we ask you, the Yankees fans, to check out their gallery, and then let us know your thoughts in the comments section below: do you agree with the list, and who would you add or subtract?
