The New York Yankees have exercised their 2013 team options on OF Curtis Granderson, 2B Robinson Cano, and RHP David Aardsma, the team announced Monday.

Granderson, 31, hit .232 with a career-high 43 home runs and 106 RBI last season, his third with the Yankees. He will make $15 million in 2013 in the option year of the five-year, $30.25 million contract he signed with Detroit in February 2008. Cano, 30, hit .313-33-94 last year, and will make $14 million in 2013, which is the second and final option year included in the four-year, $30 million deal he signed in February 2008.

Aardsma, meanwhile, was signed to a one-year, $500K deal (with a $500K option for 2013) last winter while he he was recovering from Tommy John surgery. The 30-year-old righty made five rehab appearances and pitched one Major League inning for the Bombers this season, and could have a key late-inning bullpen role for the Yankees in 2013.
