10/23/2012 12:18 PM ET
The Brooklyn Nets have requested waivers on guard Stephen Dennis, Nets General Manager Billy King announced today.
Dennis, 25, was signed to the Nets' training camp roster on September 17; he played 21 minutes in three preseason appearances, recording two points, one rebound, and one steal. The 6-foot-6 Kutztown University product was also part of Brooklyn’s Summer Pro League team back in July, playing in four of the team's five Summer League games and averaging 17.5 minutes, 5.0 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 2.8 assists.
With Dennis being waived, the Nets roster now stands at 17.
