If the race for the “Pick ‘Em Champ” comes down to a game or two, then Week 5 will likely be known as the week where it came together. The TWIF panel went 7-1 on their unanimous games, but differing opinions on the Texas/Jets Monday night showdown kept all four from breaking double digits in correct answers this week – and it was Howard Cross whose individuality truly did cost him, as he managed just a 9-5 record.

Ross Tucker, on the other hand, scored the weekly win, going 12-2 with only the Packers and Bengals keeping him from a perfect score. Overall, the season standings are almost a complete stalemate, with one game separating first from last; Ryan Ruocco’s big week catapulted him into a tie at the top with Gary Myers, while Howard’s fall and Ross’ rise have them tied just a game behind the leaders.

For Week 6, the guys are once again unanimous on eight games and split down the middle on three others. In terms of the 3-1 dissensions, Gary has two of the three, as he is the only one to choose Washington and Seattle.
