
Nets sign Dennis, Mays, Scott for camp
NEW YORK (AP) -- The Brooklyn Nets signed free agents Stephen Dennis, James Mays and Carleton Scott.
General manager Billy King announced the moves Monday. All three played overseas last season. With the transactions, the training camp roster now features 18 players.
Dennis, a guard, spent four years at Kutztown, and also played for the Bakersfield Jam in the NBA Developmental League. Mays, a forward, played in the ACC at Clemson, and has had stints in China, Turkey and Puerto Rico.
A forward at Notre Dame, Scott played in Austria last season, averaging 13.6 points and 6.6 rebounds.
