Report: Dwight Howard trade "complete"
ESPN is reporting the Dwightmare is over, that the four-team trade is "complete" and that all is left is the conference call with the league offices Friday morning. ESPN reports:
"A source with direct knowledge of the talks told ESPN.com's Marc Stein the Lakers will receive Dwight Howard, the Denver Nuggets will acquire Andre Iguodala, the 76ers will receive Andrew Bynum and Jason Richardson, and the Magic will get Arron Afflalo, Al Harrington, Nikola Vucevic and one protected future first-round pick from each of the other three teams. In addition, the Magic will be getting other pieces, including 76ers No. 1 draft pick Moe Harkless"
In addition, Alex Kennedy of HoopsWorld reports the Lakers will take on the contracts of Chris Duhon and Earl Clark and the Nuggets would receive "one more asset." The trade would end more than six months of speculation that saw the Nets make bids for Howard in December, March and July.
