Joe Girardi breaks down the Orioles
The Yankees host the Baltimore Orioles for three games beginning Monday night at Yankee Stadium holding a 7 1/2-game lead over the Birds in the AL East.
While the Orioles (53-49) are the midst of a 2-5 skid, they had their best record after their first 100 games since 1997. Yankees manager Joe Girardi, whose team remains in first at 60-41 despite dropping seven of its last 10, is wary of the challenge that lies ahead. In the latest edition of The Joe Girardi Show, Girardi sat with Jack Curry to break down what makes the O's a formidable opponent.
