
Rivera to ring NYSE opening bell Wednesday
Rivera will be ringing the opening bell at the New York Stock Exchange Wednesday morning, officially opening the trading day on the NYSE floor at 9:30 a.m.
The Sandman’s appearance on Wall Street comes, somewhat fittingly, just two days after Forbes Magazine released its annual survey ranking the most valuable professional sports franchises; the Yankees were deemed MLB's most valuable franchise, and tied with the NFL's Dallas Cowboys as the third most valuable worldwide behind European soccer powerhouses Manchester United and Real Madrid.
