The Nets are now 0-4 in the Orlando Summer League play, as a fourth-quarter comeback helped the Oklahoma City Thunder best Brooklyn 87-86 on Thursday afternoon.

The Nets led at the end of each of the first three quarters of play and built a margin as big as 13 points during that time, but OKC rallied back and finally took the lead in the waning minutes. Then, with the score knotted at 83 and just 28.6 seconds left, Thunder point guard Dwight Buycks hit a spinning jumper in the lane to put OKC up for good.

Buycks, who was given the starting nod for Thursday’s tilt after scoring 11 points in 11 minutes off the bench in the Thunder’s Wednesday win over Detroit, finished with a team-high 22 points (on 10-of-15 shooting) and six assists, while three other Thunder – including fellow backcourt starter Garrett Temple – also finished in double figures.

His counterpart, Tyshawn Taylor, had another good game for the Nets in the losing effort, scoring a game-high 23 points (on 7-of-11 shooting) and dishing out a team-high five assists.

Al Thornton, who has also played well all week for Brooklyn, finished with 19 points and six rebounds, while center Jeff Foote added nine points and seven boards in his 19 minutes.

The Nets will finish off their summer slate on Friday against Indiana (2-2), with their 2 p.m. tip-off marking the finale for the Orlando Summer League schedule.
