Mets' Nieuwenhuis scratched from lineup

NEW YORK (AP) -- Mets center fielder Kirk Nieuwenhuis was scratched from the lineup right before the first pitch of New York's game against the Philadelphia Phillies on Tuesday night because of a bruised right hand.
The Mets said Nieuwenhuis was hurt during batting practice. Andres Torres took his place in center field and in the No. 7 spot in the lineup.
