Andy Pettitte could be in the Yankees' rotation as early as May.(AP)

It was like he never left.

Pitching for the first time since Game 3 of the 2010 ALCS, Andy Pettitte pitched a scoreless sixth inning against the Mets. Pettitte threw 13 pitches and his famous pickoff move put a bug in Cory Vaughn's head. Leaning towards first, Vaughn took off for second base before being gunned down by Russell Martin.

"It was good to get out there...everything felt great," Pettitte said.

Pettitte ended a one-season retirement by agreeing to a Minor League contract on March 16 and could be ready to join the Yankees in May.
