The YES Network, the most-watched regional sports network in the country for the past six years, captured 13 New York Emmy Awards at the 52nd annual New York Emmy Awards dinner March 29, the most it has ever won, and the most this year by a New York regional sports network. YES' previous high was the eight Emmys it captured in 2006.

The network has now won 46 Emmys and has earned 160 Emmy nominations since its first year of eligibility in 2003. Yankeeography, YES' signature biography series co-produced with Major League Baseball Productions, picked up five wins, giving the series 16 Emmys in seven years of competition.

"These 13 Emmys reflect the depth and breadth of talent in front of and behind the camera, not only on-air, but online as well," said John Filippelli, president, production and programming, YES Network. "The fact that our wins were spread across so many disparate categories truly speaks to our team's capabilities."
